Equipment and support for Togolese project

CBM West Africa recently donated IT equipment and funding to "Kekeli-Neva” in southern Togo. The office hopes to develop their internet cafe and increase access for blind children

Building capacity and sustainability

On 25th June 2010 CBM's West African Regional Office donated IT equipment to Institut des Aveugles de Togoville “Kekeli-Neva”, a project located in the south of Togo. The aim is to build the capacities and sustainability of the project.

The office plans to reinforce their internet café room and help blind children to get access to training in new communication and information technologies.

Financial support plus a package containing the following items was received:
  • 6 desktop computers
  • 1 printer
  • 1 binding machine
  • 2 UPS (uninterruptible power supply) units
  • 3 automatic voltage regulators
  • 1 copy machine
  • 1 laminator
