CBM's preferred approach in meeting the needs of people with disabilities is to focus on mobilising the community. In its community-based rehabilitation programmes, 464,297 people benefited in 2010 - a 14% increase on 2009. In addition, 65,055 people with psychosocial problems were helped through our community mental health services.

I have a disability. Can CBM help me?

One of CBM’s working principles is to build partner capacity by working together with its partner organisations. Therefore CBM cannot offer help to individuals without going through its partner organisations. Only by respecting this principle can CBM commit to sustainable development in the countries in which we work.

If you wish to make contact with a CBM-supported partner project in your area, you are advised to contact the respective Regional Office.
