This British eye specialist has been working for CBM in Africa since 1984, firstly in the Central African Republic, then in Bembereke and Abomey, Benin. Since 1996, he has been employed in Parakou, a town in the north of Benin.
A few years ago he received the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his commitment to serving (cataract) blind people in Central and West Africa.
