Santodomingo, Dr. Med. Jorge Luis

Jorge Luis is an orthopaedic surgeon, originally from Córdoba in Argentina, treating children with conditions such as genu valgum, club feet, and many other congenital deformities, as well as children with osteomyelitis, Post Injection Syndrome, Trauma, cerebral palsy, and poliomyelitis. Through the project’s outreach programme. Dr. Santodomingo treats clients in regions beyond Bawku, especially in Burkina Faso and Togo.

Dr. Jorge Luis Santodomingo has been working at CBM since 2003. Prior to joining CBM he was the head of orthopaedic surgery department and the rehabilitation unit for children in Rio Gallegos, Argentina where he specialized in paediatric orthopaedic surgery and spinal surgery.

Dr. Santodomingo is an alumni of many outstanding fellowship programmes from the University of Paris, Werner-Wicker-Klinik in Germany and Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Israel.

Jorge Luis is marries to his wife Alicia. They have three children: Maria Laura, Luis Antonio and Maria Lourdes.
