Dr. Schulleri, PhD in tropical Agriculture and Phytopathology (study of plant diseases caused by infectious diseases), has been working at CBM since August 2007. He is based at CBM Regional Office in Togo and as a Chief Operations Officer he is responsible for the smooth administrative running of the Regional Office. His daily responsibilities include Programme Development, Human Resources, Public Relations and Fundraising in the programmatic West Africa.
Prior to joining CBM, Dr. Schulleri worked on different projects and in many countries in Africa, including Benin, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Dr. Schulleri is married to Phillipa. They have 5 Children of which three live in Germany and 2 in Togo.

CBM President Professor Allen Foster met with World Health Organisation Director-General Dr Margaret Chan, for the WHO's global initiative to eliminate avoidable blindness "Vision 2020: The Right to Sight” on the eve of World Sight Day 2007 at the WHO's headquarters.
