Project: health programme, mobile eye-health services, blindness prevention programmes
Eye doctor Roger and his wife Noriko from Australia have been working in Afghanistan since March 2005 for our partner International Assistance Mission.
Roger trains eye doctors, nurses and opticians and promotes the expansion of eye health services in the west of the country. Noriko teaches English, works as a translator and instructs doctors and members of other non-governmental organisations in staff management.
