Informationen: The 25-bed Presbyterian Joint Hospital is a busy, long established facility, located in Afikpo, a very remote rural area in Ebonyi State in the southeast of Nigeria. The majority of eye patients seen are suffering from cataract. The work is being covered by a national ophthalmologist. Due to the ill health of the ophthalmologist, the project has temporarily discontinued the outreach programme to other clinics in the State.
