Total programme expenditure in low and middle income countries in 2008 was 63 million Euros, a 30 per cent increase on total overseas project expenditure since 2004. Last year, CBM supported 1,016 projects in 113 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Through its partner organisations, CBM currently reaches 18 million people. Nine CBM Member Associations support a joint programme of work with a total annual budget of approximately 60 million Euros. Worldwide, approximately 650,000 people donate funds toward the work of CBM.

CBM supports Partner in Concepción, Chile

Following the 8.8-magnitude earthquake with epicentre close to the Chilean city of Concepción and aftershocks, CBM will support its Partner in the region. CBM has one Partner Project in need of reconstruction, located in Concepción, the country's second largest city.
