- The core aim of CBM and its partners is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, through poverty reduction and by restoring the potential of people with disabilities.
- Identification of these projects is based on the prevailing needs in the countries of intervention, such as the number of people with disabilities, socioeconomic indicators, available infrastructure and human resources in the areas of work, political (supporting) environment, potential and infrastructure of partner organisations, and the competency of CBM to support the work.
- This means that the decision is made by analysis of the country, the need, and the ability of the partner and CBM to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.
