What does CBM stand for?

CBM (Christoffel-Blinden Mission/Christian Blind Mission) is an international Christian organisation whose primary purpose is to improve the quality of life of the world’s poorest people with disabilities who live in the most disadvantaged societies. CBM values all people as equals before God and advocates for the inclusion of people with disabilities as equals in all aspects of society. CBM believes that people with disabilities have the same rights as others to healthcare, education, and livelihoods.
CBM works through partner agencies. CBM seeks to enable our partners to increase and improve their services for people with disabilities, ultimately becoming self-sufficient in human and financial resources.
