Is CBM a mission?
Yes and no. CBM is not a mission in order to evangelise people, but CBM has a mission to support local organisations in order to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. CBM does understand the mission in the context of human rights and of the love of God to the unprivileged people and the poor. The "action" of CBM is "God’s love in action" ("Anything you did for one of my brothers here, … you did it for me." Matthew 25, 40) and respect for the dignity of human beings.
