How can I know that my donations are supporting the purpose?
Because CBM’s support goes directly to the projects through the partner organisations.
CBM’s “supporting system” is helping to stop corruption from the beginning; every year, the partner must apply to CBM for a new budget, and, before this can be done, the partner must prove that the old budget was handled correctly. If there are some “errors”, the new budget application will not get an “ok” until the error is explained.
Last, but not least, the regional offices (responsible for a number of projects) are in close contact with every partner and project.
All this is done because of the donors, because CBM believes that donors have the right to know that their donations are reaching “the aim”, because of the people in need, and in order to enable our partners to support people with disabilities—so that they can find their way to independence.
