Location: Uganda, Kampala/Ntinda
Project Information: This school was the first school for the deaf in Uganda. It is located in Kampala and has a long waiting list. Students are divided into lower nursery, upper nursery and primary classes. The school offers pre-vocational training. The deaf blind unit has 11 students. Sign language training is offered to parents Wednesday morning. The school will start a new mental health clinic. Children are well looked after and all continue with secondary or vocational training.
