Location: Uganda, Tororo
Project Information: This small rehabilitation centre lies in the foothills of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda. It provides pre- and postoperative rehabilitation services with physiotherapy and nursing care for children with physical disabilities. It is part of a referral network with other CBR programs like TOOC and Kumi hospital. The centre has a small orthopaedic workshop.

CBM President Professor Allen Foster met with World Health Organisation Director-General Dr Margaret Chan, for the WHO's global initiative to eliminate avoidable blindness "Vision 2020: The Right to Sight” on the eve of World Sight Day 2007 at the WHO's headquarters.
