| Project Information: | Ruharo Eye Unit is a tertiary eye unit in western Uganda. Training of ophthalmic assistants and theatre nurses is provided for other eye programs in the country. An expatriate co-worker was posted to the program in 2003 that has initiated a low vision program. The unit provide outreach services to several other eye programs in western Uganda. |
