Location: India North, Kolkata (West Bengal)
Project Information: Kolkata, capital of West Bengal and one of the metropolitan cities of India. The project is about 10 kms from the airport. It is run by The Leprosy Mission in India (TLM) with its head office at Delhi. The hospital is located in the northern part of the city, close to one of the largest slums. CBM supports the eye department which caters to eye problems peculiar to leprosy patients e.g. eye lid reconstruction. In addition, hundreds of slum dwellers in and around the city benefit from the eye outreach services.
