Raidhanpar, Bhuj, district Kutch, Gujarat, about 30 kms from Bhuj airport. Kutch is an arid region bordering Pakistan, nearly half of which is a desert. It is predominantly rural, but industry is now developing. Many villages have been totally re-constructed following the earthquake. The partner has an integrated community development programme including self-help groups, income generation, watershed management etc. |
