| Project Information: | The Third Page of the Regional Office is for the co-ordination of the CBM-supported projects in Nigeria. This office in the Nigerian capital of Abuja insures that the funds allocated to the projects are actually received and properly managed. Nigeria is a country, where the banking system does not operate to standards necessary for CBM accountability and where other alternatives have not worked out successfully. It also allows for the implementation of CBM supported country-wide initiatives such as the National Fieldworkers Training, resource centres, advisory work and the National Prevention of Blindness as well as the National Prevention of Deafness Programmes. |
