Location: India North, Dhankot (Haryana)
Project Information: Dhankot, District Gurgaon in Haryana, approximately 30 kms. from International Airport at Delhi under the management of, P 1692, Venu Charitable Society. A CBR programme to support the medical eye care facility at the Venu Dhankot Satellite. Although in the vicinity of Delhi, the area has hardly any such services available. They network effectively with integrated education programmes in the vicinity. Project has converted to cross-disability from 2003.

CBM President Professor Allen Foster met with World Health Organisation Director-General Dr Margaret Chan, for the WHO's global initiative to eliminate avoidable blindness "Vision 2020: The Right to Sight” on the eve of World Sight Day 2007 at the WHO's headquarters.
