Project Description: Eye Hospital
Location: India North, Agartala (Tripura)
Project Information: Agartala, capital of Tripura State in North East India, about 5 kms from the airport. The project is managed by the Voluntary Health Association of Tripura (VHAT), the State chapter of the Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI). Very remote, poor and under-developed part of the country where hardly any medical eye services exist. The project provides the essential referral services to the CBR, Vision Centre and CAHD services located in the same city under a different partner.
