Ramnagar, District Nainital, in Uttaranchal. 49 kms from the popular hill station Nainital and 32 kms from the Jim Corbett National Park, the famous tiger sanctuary. Connected to Delhi by train, but best visited by road. It is about 205 kms from Delhi and the journey takes about 5 hrs. The project is managed by Venu Charitable Society and is the first medical eye unit in the State of Uttaranchal built on land donated by the State Government. Catchment area covers 4 districts around its location with a population of about 3.3 million. No other service providers in the vicinity. |
