| Project Information: |
Fatehpur in the State of Uttar Pradesh, approximately 250 kms south east of Delhi. A new eye department established at the EHA hospital in Fatehpur. Eye work complements already established medical services by EHA as well as different community work. Their work inclusive eye work targets a population of approx 2.3 million in Fatehpur and surrounds. Main objective is to decrease the No. of curable blind persons amongst the target population, to decrease the No. of school children with undetected and un-treated visual problems and to increase awareness in the community about eye health, and preventable and treatable eye conditions. |
