Project Information: The future St. Joseph's Hospital is located in the small town of Mgbirichi, 18 km from Owerri in Imo State, on the main road to Port Harcourt, southeast Nigeria. The project is owned by the Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy Sisters, a Catholic order in Nigeria. When completed, its aim is to reduce avoidable blindness in a needy catchment area of 12 million people in Imo, Anambra, Balyelsa, Abia and Rivers States within the parameters of VISION 2020.
