The programme covers PEC (training & Public Awareness), cataract surgical camps, trachoma control (including lid surgery) low vision, childhood blindness as well as vitamin A distribution in one of the States.

An eye department in a CBM supported eye hospital is involved in providing cataract surgery. The project is now registered as an NGO with the Cooperate Affair Commission and as such is run by a Board.
