- Integration into the formal and informal labour markets
The Project Educational Integration and Job Placement for Youth with Disability is conducted by the Comprehensive Education and Social Promotion Movement – Fe y Alegría in the department of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
The project is being implemented since 2005 thanks to the cooperation and advisory work of CBM, allowing it to serve as an occupational evaluation model for job placement as well as for inclusion in technical education programmes.
Its main objectives are to promote technical training of youth with disability for their integration in the labor market, and increase awareness of employers and civil society in favor of social inclusion of persons with disability.
This project counts with the participation of youth with disability 14 years of age and older, educated in special education centers, inclusive education centers and also by their families. Initially, work was conducted for youth with intellectual disability, however currently the programme is also open to other disabilities such as visual and hearing impairment.

Local authorities as well as the Departmental Government of Santa Cruz and the Honorable Municipal Mayor, support and back up this cause.

The project has:
- 3 special education centers with 71 teachers, 3 directors and 456 students with intellectual disability.
- 13 regular inclusive educational centers with 273 teachers, 13 directors, 8124 students without disability and 196 students with disability
- 4 inclusive institutes of alternative technical education (ETAs) with 33 teachers, 4 directors, 730 students without disability and 20 with disability.
- 179 businesses with whom contact is maintained, in which 139 occupational analysis have been conducted, as well as 154 job placement internships and where 98 youth with disability have been job placed.
