Working together to build an inclusive society
Since 1993, CBM Asia South East (ASE) Regional Office has been working in the most disadvantaged societies, irrespective of race, gender or religion to build an inclusive society.
Since 1993, CBM Asia South East (ASE) Regional Office has been working in the most disadvantaged societies, irrespective of race, gender or religion to build an inclusive society.
Through our programmes, our organisation seeks to:
- Reduce the prevalence of diseases which cause impairments.
- Minimise the conditions which lead to disability.
- Promote equal opportunities for economic empowerment, livelihood security, and full inclusion in all aspects of society for persons with disabilities.
- CBM and its partners promote and advocate for the implementation of the UN Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Sustainable Development Goals.
CBM ASE promotes and develops programmes with our 49 partner organisations in the region. We currently support 26 local partners in the Philippines, 21 in Indonesia, and two in Papua New Guinea. Local staff and international experts provide technical expertise to ensure effective delivery and sustainability of programmes and activities.
