Easter greetings from CBM

A young girl playing with a woman's braided hair. Both are smiling.
'Moandida had a cataract removed by CBM partner Nkhoma Eye Hospital (Malawi) in 2012. Here she is pictured shortly after her surgery examining everything she can get hold of, including her mother's hair!'

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4, 4-7

Let’s rejoice together

In the Easter story we are told that God does care; He cares and loves to the point that He gives the life of His Son : God’s unfailing love for us all.
May this Easter time strengthen our commitment to go to a hurting world as recipients and examples of God’s unfailing love. May we rejoice and be seeds of hope wherever we perform our daily tasks with Christ as our rock and light.

With you - CBM supporters around the world; with you - CBM co-workers and partners - and with God's strength, we know that CBM's fight to end the cycle of poverty and disability is not in vain! On behalf of all the persons with disabilities we reach together, we deeply thank you. Be blessed.

Your CBM team.
