CBM Italy and CBM India work together

For the first time, two members of the CBM family, CBM Italy and CBM India, have worked together to stage a musical concert to raise funds for education of children with disabilities. The event was organised in partnership with Bethany Society, a disability-inclusive school in Meghalaya (a north-eastern state of India) on 2 September 2013.

More than 800 music lovers - including major political leaders of the Meghalaya region - enjoyed ‘Harmony of hope’ in St Anthony's college auditorium, where Cesare Picco, the famous Italian pianist and CBM Italy Goodwill Ambassador, played with the children of Bethany. Picco, creator of ‘Blind Date - Concert in the dark’ started to collaborate with CBM Italy on World Sight Day 2011.
