Restitution Ceremony at CRMM/DROP MADA in Antsirabe

On 7 July 2017 CRMM/DROP MADA in Antsirabe held a restitution ceremony of building activities inplemented at the DROP MADA project

The DROP MADA project started in October 2014 and will end in December 2017, with a financial support of 570,000 Euros. 3 orthopaedic hospitals, CRMM in Antsirabe, CAM and CHRD Itaosy in Antananarivo, benefited from the project. The project contributed to improve the quality of the services, to develop the infrastructure and to increase the social inclusion of persons with disabilities. 

A ceremony was held in Antsirabe on 07th July for the restitution of building activities implemented within the pediatric orthopaedic project DROP MADA.

The surgery theatre and childrens hospital room was visited
For CRMM, Antsirabe, among significant realizations were the renovation works (theatre surgery, GAIT training, hospital rooms for children, plastering room, rehabilitation room, staff offices, refectory for accompanying persons.

The DROP MADA project also featured capacity building of the staff; referential studies and an equity funds study; outreaches activities at community level; and improvement of services provision. In 3 years, 2.000 children benefited from the project.

The ceremony was well attended with the presence of Pr Mamy Lalatiana Andriamanarivo, Public Health Minister, local authorities (Vakinankaratra Senator, Deputy, Prefect, and Major), DPOs representatives and CBM partners of projects based in Antsirabe (P0531-P2929-P3391).
