Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC)

The United Nations (UN) Council establishes consultative relations with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to encourage their involvement and to draw upon their special expertise or experience. Since 2002, CBM has had 'roster consultative' status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).  UN ECOSOC will periodically ask for input on a given development theme.
