The purpose of the Coalition for Global Hearing Health is to advocate for effective hearing health services and policies, to equip and empower hearing healthcare professionals, families, educators, communities and those with hearing loss, and to encourage and implement best practices. These activities contribute to the CGHH’s mission statement to promote and enhance hearing health services in low-resource communities.
The Coalition for Global Hearing Health has been the most relevant ENT network at international level during the last decade (established in 2010). It has significantly contributed toward CBM’s strategic approach to ear and hearing care as an effective platform for discussion among professionals working in the field in areas related to ear and hearing care and through the CGHH annual conferences. CGHH is also a key ally within the global community for engaging with UN agencies and influencing trends among international non-governmental organisations and other ear and hearing care stakeholders.
